SAAYA

It was the day of the final match of the twenty twenty world cup ,season one, the final being played between India and Pakistan. I was out in the market with my sister and the road bore a deserted look.
All the shops were closed , the lanes were empty and there were just a handful of people on the road like me who had some more important work other than watching the first ever final between the two nations.
After finishing the tasks, we went to meet a friend at Mc Donalds, karol bagh. It was getting dark, around 8, and we were about to leave for our homes when this friend suggested to take some pictures.

We all stood there, ready to be clicked, the friend set the camera on a car which was say five feet away from us. The photo was quicky shot and then as we grasped the camera to check how the snap had been taken, to our amazement , there was a fourth person, which appeared more like a ghost to us.

He was no where around when we clicked, nor did we see anybody passing through that little space between the car and us in that short span of time. But this snap had all of us in the background and in the front , very close to the camera, was this person , his head being covered with a white cloth and we all could vividly see his face , side ways, protuding from that white cover.
He was gazing side way through that veil but we were not able to make out was it a women or man but some body like a ghost.

We kept on looking at this pic again and again with wonder and goosebumps.
We reached home safely and never again saw this reflection.
This pic ,I hope, is still with the person whose the camera was.
Probably I will be able to upload it some day if I manage to get that

I dream a dream

It all started as a dream
and I then began to take it as real
when I opened my eyes as an infant
to see things blurred, till they became clear
I would not understand any term
no word would make sense to me
then slowly I got accoustomed
to the norms that were once new to me
I liked the new world around
although I would cry often
and then I would be hugged
till my voice got soften.
I slowly tried to be a part of my new home
enjoying every new wave
and then years rolled by
and I grew more grave.
Sometimes, its hard to believe that it is but a dream
sometimes, its hard to know that its just a ripple of a very long stream

Its been many a times since I have tried

to reach that perfect aim.

I have stumbled on the way

but my will is still not maim

Perhaps I am just a step back

perhaps it will take some while

but I know I cant give up

its my love, its my life.

the origin ऑफ़ trends

I was tapping my fingers randomly to look for some material to write
and then I came across "a s d f g h j k l "

Ok. So this is the second row of the alphabets on the keyboard. :) :)
So, the next thought that came was why are the letters arranged in this unordered way.I am pretty much clueless about this arrangement and may be you could enlighten me on this. I mean , we have this f1 to f12 set, all in the ascending order, the numbers , that are too well numbered. Par ye alphabets he kyu(hindi mein padiye agle do shabd) titter bitter se hain ??

Possibly, us firangi ko ungrezi ki varnamala nhi yaad thi.
ya shayad apni most chahne waalon ki list mein se chun chun ke letters fix kiye :)
Aur fir ye ek trend bun gya..like once salman khan's trouser got stuck with a table and then it got torn and from then its trend to wear tattered clothes.
Matlab ab to ye bhi complaint nhi kar sakte ki mummy kapde fatt gye hai, laane do aur!!!! (mummy then points her finger toward salman trouser's poster and I towards salman's chest. Mummy then quickly lends me money and shifts her finger towards bhumika chawla and I am
left short of words :) ).

So, coming back to the trends. Yesterday I went in the metro and there was this guy who had the piercing protuding from his lips. It was like an arc shaped structure, more like a crescent moon . Well, I am thinking so many times it would have happened with him that the chowmein instead of going into his mouth would have got stuck there.

So, it comes to me now that more or less the trend of trends came like an accident which eventually after repetitive accidents became the trend. let me justify myself now. May be one day that guy wore a loose trousers and to his misery, forgot to put on the belt , aur tab se ek aur trend bun gya.

Another time, probably, somebody accidently poked his finger into an open circuit that gave the hair an new weird look and from then on came this spikes concept.

Again perhaps one day ,this women forgot to dye her hair completely and hence by her repetitive short memory syndrome, the trend of streaks came into picture.

So, what ultimately the insight is that if in future you accidently go to the office wearing both shoes of different colors, then try repeating this a couple of times till you find a few followers.
